Incredibly welcoming staff and clientele. The real ales are stunning especially the local brews. Food is good too with the homemade chilli and curry being a particular treat. The veggie (and vegan compatible) chilli are top drawer.

Update, visited again and the landlady and landlord are storming it, a refreshed interior and their food has got even better. The steak is amazing value, you will pay more in restaurants but not beat the quality. If the homemade bread a d butter pudding is on the menu order it, you will not be disappointed

Went to the Slater's this weekend as part of a stag do, most pubs would have probably kicked us out after the first night....

The owners welcomed us back with open arms and even fed us some pizza, cracking little pub brilliant hosts, would well recommend, thanks for having us.

The Slater's is simply great. We stayed in Corris for 10 days, and by the end, felt like locals.

The beer is excellent and changes frequently. The food is good, traditional pub food, with plenty of options including veggie. Did I say the beer was good? Well, it is!

What a wonderful landlord! Not only did he abandon fixing his car to open the pub early for me to get some much-needed cigarette papers, he then refused to let me pay ?

 Absolute superstar. We will be back very soon to buy you a pint, sir!!!

Book in advance because space is limited but well worth it.

This was our first stay at Corris so we booked 3 nights at the Slaters Arms not knowing what to expect. The menu was very well priced and by far the best pub food I have eaten. The portions were excellent and the food served was just excellent. Really enjoyed the bar with the choice of ales and spirits and the owners were fantastic hosts.

They have recently developed parts of the pub and done so very tastefully. A fantastic place with character and we look forward to returning.

Definitely worth a visit, even if you're not staying in Corris (why not?) can't think of a time I had felt like a local (even just visiting the area) and it's dog-friendly too.
Will be back, soon hopefully.

We ate twice here whilst saying in GLanydon cottage we received a warm friendly welcome in the pub and enjoyed sampling the local drinks and lovely food having a local pub so close to the cottage made this an idyllic location for our early autumn break and we will most definitely be back next year to sample some more of the Slaters arms hospitality

Eaten here twice this week; good choice of veggie options, and the food is delicious! Definitely recommend the veggie burger .

Great friendly staff and really nice atmosphere as well as lots of history. I look forward to coming back next time I am in the area.
